We all know the best thing we can do to combat tired eyes and dark circles is have a good night’s sleep. Well, more like a good sleep regime, after all they won’t disappear after just one night and you may have to put in a little more effort than simply counting sheep.
That said, there’s many other things we can adjust ever so slightly that will certainly help with this pesky concern.
De-stress with a little yoga, meditation or relaxation – whatever it is that gets you feeling calm and serene, give it a go! Then we look at our diet (yup, boring we know, but without considering how this affects our eyes and skin we would only be treating the symptom and not the cause – or the curse!). Therefore, it’s good to have the knowledge in our arsenal that a great diet and plenty of water will do wonders for your peepers and have you looking a little brighter around the eyes in no time at all.
But for all the sleep, relaxation, healthy eating and hydration in the world, some of us still can’t remove the rings and are plagued by dark circles that seem to be a permanent fixture making us appear tired and in some cases, even a little sad. For those of you who can relate to this, we may just have the answer.
Here at Light Touch Clinic, Dr Natalie is a wizard with a wand (well, a doctor with a syringe) who can help you with a little dermal filler and the lightest touch. It’s important to us here at Light Touch, that we keep you looking natural but refreshed. The skin beneath the eyes is thinner than that of the rest of the face and therewith lies the problem. Because of this, the vessels in the hollows beneath the eye are more visible and when even a little sunken with age or lifestyle, a shadow can be cast that gives the appearance of dark circles. By using a tiny amount of dermal filler we can plump and rehydrate this delicate area just enough to make dark circles simply a memory – and best of all, your eyes will appear wider and brighter so regardless of your lifestyle, you’ll look as though you’ve been doing all the right things 😉
