Mesopeels - Advanced Skin Peels - Light Touch Clinic

Mesopeels – Advanced Skin Peels

Skin looking a little lucklustre? Struggling with acne? Perhaps a Mesoestetic peel could be what you need.

Our new range of pharmaceutical grade peels at the Light Touch Clinic use proven ingredients of the highest calibre to help improve your skin. Chemical peels work by encouraging deep exfoliation in different layers of the skin. This exfoliation helps slough away dulling dead skin cells, improves the appearance of acne and wrinkles and can help treat both active acne and the scars it can leave behind. We have a curated selection of different peels so we can custom match a peel to your skin’s needs.

Unlike our Obagi Blue Peel RADIANCE that you may have tried before, these peels do require some at home preparation for the best results. You will be given a special gel to use at home to prep your skin during the 2 weeks leading up to your treatment. Don’t worry, this will all be explained to you by your practitioner in your consultation and the cost of the at-home product is included in the price of your peel.

We currently offer 3 unique peels  which use different, carefully-selected ingredients to specifically target different concerns.

  • Mesopeel Melanostop: This peel is a blend of azelaic acid, resorcinol acid and phytic acid. This peel causes progressive fading of colour on hyperpigmentation spots and can help reduce the size of them. Melanostop is also suitable for dull skins, and skins with an uneven skin tone.
  • Mesopeel Lactic Acid: Lactic acid helps to break down dead skin cells on your skins surface to stimulate collagen and elastin and leave the skin feeling hydrated and brightened. This one is great for those who want brighter, more youthful skin.
  • Mesopeel  Salicylic Acid: salicylic acid peels are great for congested skins with an uneven skin tone. This is a resurfacing peel that has antibacterial properties and helps clear out clogged pores. This peel is excellent for reducing pore size and for oily, acne prone skin.

These treatments can be taken as a one-off to give your skin a boost or can be taken as a course of treatment.

Treat Yourself…

Why not treat yourself to our ‘Relax and Revitalise’ add-on? Your practitioner will add a soothing, brightening antioxidant masque to your treatment and whilst the product works its magic, you will be treated to a relaxing shoulder massage. If you would like to upgrade your peel, this will be an additional £25.

How does it work?

Mesopeels use a carefully prepared cocktail of acids the exfoliate the deeper layers of the skin. This helps slough away dull or congested skin for healthy, clearer skin.

Your treatment begins with a consultation with either Marisa or Melissa who will assess your skin and work out which peel would be best for you. If you would like to go ahead with treatment and are suitable, you will be given some a preparation gel to take home which must use for two weeks before your peel.
