We love to do lip filler at the Light Touch Clinic and pride ourselves on our natural results.
As we age, we begin to lose that youthful volume from our lips and lips become less curvaceous. However, the Light Touch Clinic is here to help! Using FDA-approved fillers, our medical practitioners can gently plump lips and restore the curves of your Cupid’s bow for a natural result you will love. In addition, our medical practitioners can use dermal filler to perfect the area around the lips such as those fine lines you may see above your upper lip. This results in a pair of beautiful, well-groomed lips which look fab with or without a slick of colour!
Before and immediately after lip filler – a plumper pout for a bride-to-be! Watch Emma’s treatment in the video in the sidebar.

At the Light Touch clinic we believe in replacing lost volume, not adding volume that wasn’t there in the first place. You will the leave the clinic looking refreshed and rejuvenated, not artificially puffed-up like some celebrities!
We use Juvederm® and Aliaxin – 2 of the leading dermal fillers on the market. It is FDA-approved and temporary – this means your body should break them down over 6-12 months, so in the unlikely event you are not satisfied with the results they are not permanent. These dermal fillers are well tolerated by most people because they are made from hyaluronic acid, a natural substance in our body responsible for lubricating the skin and joints.
Your lip filler and enhancement treatment will only be administered by one of our practitioners using the latest minimally invasive techniques.
What does the treatment involve?
Small quantities of Dermal Filler are injected into the areas of the lip where results are desired. Our practitioners often use a micro-cannula to administer the filler. By using a cannula our patients benefit from less pain, less bruising, less swelling, less risk of complications and a smooth, natural-looking result.
What will my skin look like afterwards?
The effects of a lip filler and enhancement treatment are immediate but you may experience a small amount of swelling and/or bruising which may take a few days to subside.
Are Lip Fillers safe?
As long as they are administered by a trained medical practitioner who is experienced in the anatomy of the face, dermal fillers should be safe. The hyaluronic acid gel is completely natural and over time is broken down and assimilated back into the body causing no harm to you.
What are the risks and complications?
All non-invasive procedures carry a small amount of risk which is why they are only administered after a face to face consultation with one of our practitioners during which a full assessment will be carried out and a full list of cautions and contraindications discussed.
Are dermal filler injections my only option?
Before you undergo any injectable treatment you will be invited for a consultation with one of our practitioners who will analyse your lips and face and help you decide which treatment option is most suitable.
At the Light Touch Clinic, our injectable treatments are only performed by medical practitioners. We have 2 practitioners who carry out dermal filler and lip treatments: Dr Cherry Armstrong and Janine Scott. Before your treatment you will be invited to a consultation with one of our practitioners who will determine the best way to achieve your desired result.
