Melissa French – Medical Aesthetician
The new body contouring device from BTL combines monopolar radiofrequency energy with cellutone technology to treat the cause of cellulite – not just the symptoms. It has been approved by the FDA for the treatment of cellulite and Light Touch is thrilled to be one of the very first clinics to offer this treatment to our patients.
In addition, when used to treat cellulite on the buttocks, this treatment also delivers a fab lift for a perkier derriere – we call this The Peach Lift!

Cellulite is increasingly common and affects women more than men with around 85 – 95% of women having cellulite. Common problem areas include the thighs, buttocks and stomach.
Cellulite is uneven or dimpled skin and is a result of alterations in the deeper layers of skin. Such alterations include the following:
The Unison uses radiofrequency heat energy and cellutone technology to tackle cellulite at the cause. Radiofrequency remodels collagen deep in the skin and helps remove metabolic waste. Cellutone technology helps increase blood supply and removes metabolic waste from the body via the lymphatic system.
The treatment is totally non-surgical. Your skilled practitioner will pass the head of the machine over your body using a controlled technique to help your body tighten and tone from within.
Unique to the Light Touch Clinic, the Peach Lift lifts to buttocks whilst toning the front and back of the thighs. This is one of our most popular packages!

This treatment combines two unique therapies in one treatment for superior cellulite reduction.
Monopolar radiofrequency heat energy penetrates deep into the skin to remodel collagen in the deeper layers. It does this by degrading the damaged collagen and encouraging the body to produce new, stronger collagen. The radiofrequency energy also helps clear up metabolic waste by making cell membranes more permeable so that substances can move through it faster and kick-starts enzymes responsible for breaking down fats.
The cellutone element regenerates connective tissues and also increases blood supply to the affected areas. This element of the treatment combined with the specialist technique used by your practitioner also promotes metabolic waste removal via the lymphatic system.
