Lip Definition

Unfortunately as we age our lip shape begins to change. Most of us start to lose volume from their lips from our 40s. If you are a smoker, you may also develop fine lines (smoker’s lines) along the lip lines. In addition, Some of us may also develop a “Mona Lisa Smile” when the sides of the mouth curl downwards giving the face a sad, melancholy look. However, we can help restore that lost volume and tackle signs of ageing around the mouth by using temporary dermal fillers.

We can dermal fillers to help improve the appearance of lips in younger by accentuating the cupid’s bow or adding gentle volume for a natural yet plumper pout.

Immediately After Treatment (hence redness!)*

What causes loss of lip definition?

How quickly our lips lose volume is much down to genetics and the ageing process, but smoking and sun damage also play a part. Smoker’s lines are caused by constant puckering when sucking on a cigarette, while UV exposure breaks-down collagen and elastin the building blocks of youthful skin.

I am so pleased with my lip fillers!Cherry did a perfect job! My “smoker’s lips” lines are gone! I never thought I would have a smooth lip line again but am very happy with my results. I can’t believe I’ve waited so long to treat myself to fillers. I wish I had done this years ago. “
