Acne to Hollywood
Weybridge cosmetic clinic transforms acne sufferer to Hollywood star
A Weybridge cosmetic clinic has won an award at the prestigious MyFaceMyBody awards at the International Hotel on Park Lane.
The Light Touch Clinic beat off hundreds of competitors to win the ‘Best Non-Surgical Makeover’ for the results achived on a young acne sufferer who has gone on to star in major Hollywood pictures, such as the 2013 film ‘Rush’.
Aisling Knight suffered from acne for many years despite doctors and specialists saying she would grow out of it.
The 25-year old discovered INTAcel, a non-invasive treatment that uses radiofrequency heat energy to combat oily acne-proe skin, at the Light Touch Clinic.
She applied through the clinic’s charitable arm ‘Life Stories’ and was accepted as a worthy case for the treatment.
Aisling said: “I thought I was going to suffer with spotty skin until I was an old lady. Dr Natalie is a modern day hero, if I had met her years I wouldn’t have had to suffer in silence for so long.”
Aisling’s skin had completely recovered and cameramen using HD cameras have told her that her skin ‘looks amazing!’ She has gone on to star in music videos, short films, feature films, theatre productions, adverts and live performances.
Dr Natlie Blakely, a former GP who set up Light Touch Clinic in 2006, said: “It’s fantastic that we won the Best Non-Surgical Makeover as it’s at the core of what we do and we are so proud of the results that we achieve.
“I don’t believe you get the best results unless you use the best technology and really listen to what your customers need. This award symbolises the passion we all have for the best treatments, the best care and the best advice.”
