In general, a facial does not hurt and is a very relaxing experience. In some cases, where the facial is much like a mild peel, you may feel slight tingling sensations, but this should not be painful.

A facial treatment can leave your face with a wonderful glow. The skin may feel firmer, fuller, softer and smoother. You should see results immediately following the procedure, depending on your individual response.

In some cases, patients may experience facial redness, following these treatments if it is designed to resurface the skin. We often advise patients to protect the skin from UV rays by using a suitable SPF, as the skin may feel a little sensitive. Your aesthetician will need to know if you have any allergies to reduce the risk of a reaction.
