We are committed to the highest standards of customer care for botox treatment in Woking.
For the leading Botox® treatment in the Woking area, please consider Light Touch Clinic – a clinic run by the UK’s ‘best doctor for Botox® and Fillers’.
However, we have to be honest. For outstanding treatment, you will have to travel just a few miles to Weybridge. The trip will be worth it.
There are good clinics in Woking itself, but by travelling 15 minutes down the road, you benefit from a clinic that isn’t just good, it is world class.
The reviews demonstrate this, as does the reputation of Doctor Natalie Geary, an expert who is regularly used by leading media sources as their go-to choice to talk about non-surgical treatments such as Botox® .
Our clinic has also been recently refurbished, making it even more welcoming, even more of a calming experience.
We make all botox patients from Woking feel welcome and at ease from the moment they walk through the door, whether this is a nervous patient coming for their very first consultation, or someone who has had multiple treatments.
In this page, we will talk a little about the clinic, how we stand apart from other clinics close to Woking and also give details about Botox itself and its suitability as a treatment for the visible signs of ageing.
Botox® is mainly used by our Woking customers to address signs of ageing, typically lines and wrinkles in the face.
As we will explain a little lower, it is often used in conjunction with dermal fillers and other treatments as each can improve different signs of ageing.
Hugely popular as a non-surgical way to leave you looking great, Botox® is used for all of the following. However, the list is not exhaustive.
Suitability would always be discussed during a consultation and Botox® , or any other treatment, only recommended if in a patient’s best interests.
Botox® is a trademarked name and is a shortened version of botulinum toxin. A natural follow-up question is ‘what on earth is botulinum toxin?’
The toxin is a nerve suppressant, it reduces the nerve signals to specific muscles. This then impacts the lines and wrinkles that are caused by muscle contraction, on the face these are lines such as those on the forehead, or around the eyes.
Skilful injection of just the right amount of toxin into precisely the right nerves helps to reduce these lines – not to make them disappear completely, as this creates a frozen face look, but to reduce their appearance. The lines are always present, but as we age they become ever more visible and pronounced, Botox® reverses this trend.
As with any treatment, the first stage is a detailed consultation. This is essential to ensure that any treatment is suitable and can produce the level of change sought.
We understand that the initial consultation can seem to be a nervous experience, especially if this is your first time considering a treatment. Please rest assured that we put all prospective patients at ease and there is no pressure to book a treatment.
Botox® results vary by the expertise of the practitioner – please only consider doctor-led, regulated clinics.
When administered with skill, the results are profound, yet natural-looking. The signs of ageing are greatly reduced, yet you still look yourself, natural and as a great version of yourself.
People will think you look radiant, not that you have ‘had work done’.
The results can also extend beyond the physical. The signs of ageing can be distressing, impacting our confidence and self-esteem, this in turn having an effect on work, relationships and all aspects of life.
A subtle treatment such as Botox® can change this, it can make people feel better in themselves.
This is wonderful to see – patients who had worries about their appearance and lacked self-confidence now being happier and more confident.
Length of treatment: Around 30 to 60 minutes
Suitability for Botox® treatment: Assessed at consultation. Most will be suitable, but some would not be suitable, for instance those who are breastfeeding or pregnant.
Recovery time: As with other non-surgical treatments for aesthetics, there is no recovery period
Side effects: Potential mild, temporary pain (though a localised numbing cream can be used). there can be small red marks that temporarily appear on the surface of the skin. There can be bruising, but this can be covered by make-up
Duration of Results: Results for clients will usually last between three and four months
Cost: This would be discussed at the consultation as it depends on the amount of botulinum toxin administered. You would be given an obligation-free quote to consider at your leisure
Safety: Botox® is considered a safe treatment and has had FDA approval since 2002. However, we would always recommend only considering Doctor-led clinics for any treatment such as this to ensure the use of top quality injections from someone trained in facial anatomy.
