Kirsty has an Ultra Stem Cell Facial!
As you have already seen on social media, we have recently launched our Ultra Stem Cell Lift facials which are part of our Summer Skin Boot Camp. What sets this facial apart from our other facials is that it combines Exilis Elite radiofrequency technology and Dr Levy Skincare to lift and tighten the skin. I was very excited when Marisa asked if I would be interested in giving this new facial a whirl!
For me, my skin is my biggest concern for my wedding. While I am getting my rosacea under control (thank you Janine for the IPL!), I do feel like I need something to lift and refresh my skin. During my consultation with Marisa she suggested that I went for the full face treatment. This treatments helps rejuvenate the entire face and the neck too.
Treatment began a deep cleanse and fast mask using the Dr Levy 3Deep cleanser. In case you haven’t used Dr Levy Skincare before, Marisa fills us in on the brand:
Developed by Dr Levy, this range of skincare hails from Switzerland and is one of our most popular brands at the clinic. Argan CDV is the superstar ingredient in this range and is a patented cocktail of plant stem cells, vitamins (ACE) and other skin-loving ingredients. Together these ingredients are proven to re-stimulate your dermal stem cells to rejuvenate from within. It also provides deep hydration and helps smooth away lines and wrinkles. What we (and our patients) love about the Dr Levy range is that the formulas are very luxurious, they’re a real treat for the skin!
Next, Marisa carefully patted applied serum to my face and neck. “With Dr Levy serums you need to wait a minute after application for the product to absorb – this called the ‘Sticky Minute’. Once the product is absorbed your skin will feel silky-soft.” explains Marisa.
Time for the Exilis Elite part of the treatment! The treatment itself is warming but not uncomfortably so. The tip of the machine keeps moving so it doesn’t get hot for too long. Marisa explains that with this treatment you want the temperature to get close to being too hot, but never to pass that threshold. More pain does not mean more gain.
Post-Exilis, Marisa gently cleanses away the gel used for the treatment and Dr Levy serums and creams are applied – along with sunblock- to protect and nourish my skin.
