1. Stick to a clean, low-fat diet
Cut down on refined, processed foods that contain sugar, sweeteners, saturated fat and chemicals and build a diet around lean protein, oily fish, vegetables and low-GI fruit including berries. For tips on clean eating I recommend reading The Clean & Lean Diet by James Duigan.
2. Boost your metabolism with interval training
The best type of exercise to help reduce and prevent cellulite is interval training also known as HIIT, because it burns more calories than most traditional forms of exercise and boosts your metabolism for hours afterwards. As well as improving your overall fitness interval training will reduce fat and the less fat you have the less pushing and puckering and the less visible your cellulite will be. The great thing about interval training is that you can do it anywhere and you don’t need any gear or machines. A 20 minute routine that takes in 1-3 minute bursts of moves such as jumping jacks, squats, some jumps using a skipping rope followed by a minute of rest is all it takes.
