At the Light Touch Clinic your Medical Facial will incorporate several stages based on your skin’s needs. We only use gold-standard prescription-strength skincare that rejuvenates the skin from the inside-out for results you can see.
We also incorporate the latest techniques and technologies including light treatments and skin peels which can improve sun damage, discolouration, skin elasticity and acne breakouts.
What does a Medical Facial involve?
The skin is cleansed and exfoliated. A light peel is then applied followed by a soothing face mask during which time you will receive a relaxing massage. The skin is then replenished with skincare products.
Does it hurt?
This treatment is pain free for most patients. However, you may experience a hot, tingling or itchy sensation when the peel is on your skin. This is completely normal and should subside quickly.
What will my skin look like afterwards?
Your skin should look smooth and glowing! After treatment it is important to take extra care in the sun, wearing a sunblock with an SPF30 or above.
How long before I see results?
Results are usually visible immediately but for long-term results we suggest booking a course of Medical Facials.
What are the risks and complications?
All non-invasive procedures carry a small amount of risk which is why they are only administered after a face-to-face consultation with one of our team during which a full assessment will be carried out and a full list of cautions and contraindications discussed.
Are Medical Facials my only option?
No, there are several other treatments that may be more suitable for your skin concern including Advanced Skin Peels and INTRAcel. Before you undergo any of our treatments you will be invited for a consultation with one of our doctors who will analyse your skin and help you decide which treatment option is most suitable.
At the Light Touch Clinic, our facials are performed by Melissa French. With years of experience and a passion for perfecting skin quality – you are in very capable hands!
