Cosmetic clinic scoops award for best non-surgical makeover
A Weybridge cosmetic clinic has beaten competitors to win an award for one of its treatments.
Last month the Light Touch Clinic was awarded ‘Best Non-Surgical Makeover’ for the results achieved on a young acne sufferer who has gone on to star in major Hollywood pictures, including 2013 film Rush.
Recognised internationally, this is the fourth annual MyFaceMyBody awards, attended by more than 400 professionals, brands, journals and celebrities.
They are the only consumer voted awards dedicated to the cosmetic, aesthetic and dental industry to recognise and reward brands for their product innovation and popularity. Clinics were judged by mystery shoppers who create a 12 page report on them.
Dr Natalie Blakely, a former GP who set up Light Touch Clinic in 2006, said: “It’s fantastic that we won the Best Non-Surgical Makeover as it’s at the core of what we do and we are so proud of the results that we achieve.
“I always want the best of everything for our customers and we make sure that comes across in everything we do, I don’t believe you get the best results unless you use the best technology and really listen to what your customers need.
“This award symbolises the passion we all have for the best treatments, the best care and the best advice.”
Actress Aisling Knight, 25, suffered from acne for many years and as an aspiring model and TV presenter she was distraught when she would get turned down for jobs owing to the condition of her skin.
She applied through the clinic’s charitable arm and was accepted as a worthy case for the treatment INTAcel, a non-invasive treatment which uses radio frequency heat energy to combat oily acne-prone skin.
It has almost completely solved her overactive and persistent acne troubles.
As well as winnning ‘Best Non-Surgical Makeover,’ The Light Touch Clinic was also the first national runner-up in both the ‘Best Aesthetic Clinic,’ South England and Wales category.
Dr Blakely added: “Winning this award means a lot to the whole team and me personally. Helping people to feel better, increase their confidence and improve their appearance is something I feel passionately about.
“We pride ourselves in getting to know each of our patients as an individual to build rapport and create a trusting relationship; we are always contactable for gentle reassurance when needed. It is vital to our business that we are meeting the highest of standards and exceeding the quality experience demanded by our patients.”
