Over time, the natural volume and suppleness of your skin diminishes and facial wrinkles and folds form. Dermal fillers can help temporarily restore the skin's lost volume. They are made of Hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring substance in the body. Hyaluronic acid (HA) binds water to keep skin looking healthy, hydrated and firm. As we age our HA becomes less efficient, leading to loss of support in the skin, loss of firmness and the appearance of lines. Dermal fillers are an injectable form of pure HA that closely resembles the body’s own natural HA. They are therefore safe to use and give great, natural looking results.

As we age, the collagen in the skin diminishes. It is the collagen which gives the structure and support to the skin, therefore, when it starts to disappear, crows’ feet, wrinkles and folds will develop. Dermal fillers are anti-aging injectable treatments which offer a way to lift the wrinkle out, making it appear softened, or less obvious. They are very versatile products which can be used with other anti-aging treatments such as wrinkle relaxing injections.
At Light Touch Clinic we use only the very best products and latest techniques to ensure great results. Our dermal fillers range consists of Restylane and Juvederm Ultra. These products are based upon Hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in our body. They are formulated using non-animal derived products and therefore have an excellent safety profile. We get fantastic, natural looking results using these dermal fillers. Results should last between 6-9 months.
Treatments in the Clinic are carried out by Dr Natalie Blakely, a fully qualified cosmetic doctor. The consultation and treatment will usually last 30 minutes with instant results and no downtime required.
